  • Designed and deployed H-LLM, a multi-model AI verification platform that queries eight LLMs simultaneously (GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Cohere, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Perplexity) to detect hallucinations and model divergence in real time.
  • Developed the proprietary H-Score algorithm providing reliability scoring and confidence metrics for AI-generated content across legal, financial, and healthcare domains.
  • Built VERA (Verification Engine for Results & Accountability), an MCP-based LCAP intervention verification system for K–12 education, now deployed for California and New South Wales, Australia.
  • Created Circle5, a family safety platform using Expo/React Native and Supabase Realtime, with Advanced partner status from Check Point Software for enterprise-grade security integration.
  • Launched H-LLM on the Apple App Store with Stripe subscription processing and Twilio SMS authentication.
  • Developing LiminalMark, a distributed watermarking technology for AI-generated content using Reed-Solomon error correction (patent pending).

  • Founded and led an actuarial consulting firm serving CSBA and 400+ California public-sector entities in pension, OPEB, and GASB compliance.
  • Firm acquired by Foster & Foster Consulting Actuaries (2023–24), with programs continuing under the acquiring firm.
West Region Managing Partner | Ernst & Young (Actuarial, Benefits & Compensation)
1980s – 2000s
  • Led the West Region practice for actuarial, benefits, and compensation consulting at one of the Big Four professional services firms.
  • Designed and implemented CSBA's GASB 45 actuarial compliance program, which continues in operation today through Foster & Foster.

1990s
  • Built a unified enterprise portal serving Northrop Grumman's 100,000 employees for benefits administration and IT infrastructure.
  • Grew Northrop Grumman into a major client generating more than $1 million in annual revenue for RemoteNet.
  • Designed scalable enterprise systems for employee benefits administration, risk management, and data processing.

  • Established an actuarial consulting practice serving municipalities, pension funds, and enterprise clients. Firm later merged with Towers Perrin.
  • Pioneered early database and computing solutions, programming in Fortran beginning in the early 1960s and transitioning through successive technology eras.

Board Service & Community Leadership

Co-Founder, Beckman Laser Institute and Medical Clinic, University of California, Irvine

Structured the circular $5 million funding mechanism (UCI land + Beckman Foundation cash) that established the Institute. Led national fundraising efforts raising the equivalent of $34 million in today's dollars. Served on the board alongside Arnold Beckman (Beckman Instruments) and David Packard (Hewlett-Packard). The Institute is now a world leader in pediatric laser treatment, home to the Vascular Birthmarks & Malformations Diagnostic and Treatment Center, which treats port-wine stains, hemangiomas, and other vascular conditions in infants and children using technologies developed on site.

Member, Board of Trustees, Capistrano Unified School District

Elected 1990. Contributed to governance and strategic planning for one of Southern California's largest public school systems.

Member, Board of Directors, Children's Hospital of Mission Viejo

Served on the governing board supporting pediatric healthcare services in South Orange County.
